On the way to see my sister and her family in west Cork Stopping for a late lunch at our friends the Harleys. Bruce is the son of David Harley. Hence he can say that he is 'Bruce Harley, David's son' (say it quickly!). Their children are Poppy, Solomon, Levi and Moses; hence Anya referred to them as 'Poppy and the Bible characters.'
We had a woman from Lira, Uganda sharing in church this morning. Our church has sent teams out with 'Fields of Life' over the last number of years. Listening to her reminded me of the importance of having a connection with overseas. This would be something I would like to see developed in the next church that I am a part of.
