Only words?

The first love language that Gary Chapman mentions is 'words of affirmation'.  I think that this is my primary love language.  When I was leaving Richhill a friend bought me a book.  He did not inscribe anything on it, in case I already had that book.  I was gutted.  What he might have written in the book would have been more value to me than the book itself.  I have also kept some letters where people have said very kind things to me (I admit that there may be some vanity in this).  Chapman mentions affirming words, encouraging words, kind words and humble words.
