The book I was commenting...Thanks for the comment.

The book I was commenting on certainly had no hesitation in referring to the Bible.

The question I would have for you is 'what does it take to be a real scientist?' Does someone with a PhD in a scientific field qualify? Does someone who teaches at a recognised secular university qualify? If so there were contributors to this book that are real scientists!

Secondly, surely Francis Collins (of the human genome project) would qualify as a real scientist. While he does not go along with ID (he is a theistic evolutionist as far as I know), he doesn't agree with you that Darwin killed God. He feels that his scientific research is compatible with his Christian faith.
Your sincerely.
PaulTo whom it may concernhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12606673833737508249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-815187212465418058.post-14959590297813094542010-06-22T17:29:01.552+01:002010-06-22T17:29:01.552+01:00Alistair Donald explains that, 'In the 1990s t...Alistair Donald explains that, 'In the 1990s the Intelligent Design movement emerged, from roots in the previous decade. It is often incorrectly maintained that ID was an offshoot of biblical creationism, but in fact the movement originated among scientists who were formerly Darwinists but had become sceptical of the theory because recent advances in science, particularly biochemistry and information science, seemed to be incompatible with Darwinism.'

R. T. Kendall makes the claim that 'the world is largely unaware of a rising number of competent, brilliant scientists (some Christian, some non-Christian) who do not believe in evolution at all.'

If stupid people want to believe in childish nonsense, that's OK with me. But I can't tolerate dishonesty. The above two paragraphs are just a sample of the constant lying I see all the time when I read creationist gibberish.

"Intelligent design" are fancy words that mean "magic". If these professional liars were honest, that's what they would call it, magic.

Intelligent design magic most definitely came from Bible magic. They just leave out the Bible because they are trying to pretend magic is a scientific idea so they can force biology teachers to teach it.

The magic movement originated among scientists? Pure dishonesty. People who spread lies like this belong in prison.

Recent advances in science are incompatible with Darwinism? More dishonesty. Also, real scientists call evolution "evolution" not "darwinism".

This really makes me mad because it's extremely dishonest: "a rising number of competent, brilliant scientists (some Christian, some non-Christian) who do not believe in evolution at all."

First of all, scientists don't "believe" in evolution. They accept evolution because it's a basic scientific fact.

Scientists who deny the established truth of evolution are brilliant? They don't even exist. No serious scientist in the world denies the basic facts of evolution (including our close evolutionary relationship with chimpanzee apes).

These people are called Liars for Jeebus. They are enemies of human progress, and what they are doing is treason. Their constant attempts to dumb down science education makes them enemies of America, equal to terrorists.

http://darwin-killed-god.blogspot.com/Human Apehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11936967193312505472noreply@blogger.com
